Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and committed Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and oversee the seamless and efficient management of the Cliveden Bar & Dining & assisting with Sanctum HQ (Melbourne’s ultimate members’ club for exclusive experiences) while consistently delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
You're responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- You will form part of the Food & Beverage management team providing ongoing support, training and development to team members.
- Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to support revenue initiatives and maintain cost controls.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members which a particular focus on ensuring we maintain brand standards and cultivate an upselling culture.
- Prepare, manage and assist in facilitating event operational requirements.
- Prepare and manage team members for a smooth operation.
- Ensure rosters have adequate number of team members for future events.
- Effectively handle guest feedback and provide a prompt positive outcome.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will hold the below (but not limited to):
- 2+ years’ experience within the Food & Beverage.
- Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry, with an innovative mindset.
- Strong focus and passion for hotel, food and beverage operations, and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask with a warm friendly approach
- Ability to work flexibility (including nights, weekends, public holidays).
- Possession of impeccable attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team to deliver successful operations.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
- Must hold a valid RSA.
