Job Description
The F&B Reservationist is responsible for managing guest bookings, coordinating seating assignments, and optimizing the flow of the restaurant. This role requires impeccable organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to deliver an exclusive, seamless guest experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-touch, luxury environment, is tech-savvy, and has deep knowledge of dining culture and VIP guest handling.
This full-time position has hourly compensation of $35.00 an hour.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all restaurant reservations using platforms like SevenRooms, OpenTable, or Resy.
Oversee VIP guest bookings, special occasions, and private dining requests.
Maintain detailed guest profiles to track preferences, allergies, and past visits.
Work closely with the Maitre D’ and service team to optimize the seating chart and flow of service.
Communicate accurate wait times, seating availability, and accommodations to guests.
Handle high-profile clientele with discretion and professionalism.
Assist with guest follow-ups, confirmations, and special accommodations.
Collaborate with the Marketing and PR teams for exclusive dining experiences.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a fine dining reservations or guest services role.
Luxury hospitality experience required (hotel, private club, or Michelin-starred restaurant preferred).
Experience with VIP clientele, exclusive events, and high-profile guest accommodations.
Fluent in English; additional languages preferred (French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese).
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
SKILLS
Expert knowledge of luxury hospitality, guest etiquette, and VIP handling.
Proficiency in reservation management systems (SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize reservations under pressure.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
