Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Manager at Pullman Rotorua Hotel is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue and promote the hotel's facilities, including event planning, client relationship management, and leading the sales team. The Sales & Marketing Manager at the Pullman Rotorua, an Accor property, involves preparing proposals, managing client databases, and fostering a positive selling culture. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Sales Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Client & Event Management: Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to securing business, creating customized proposals, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Revenue Maximization: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue from all hotel facilities.
  • Promotional Activities: Promote special offers and hotel services to guests and potential clients.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily or weekly sales reports as required by management.
  • Team Leadership: Promote a positive selling environment within the hotel.
  • Professional Service: Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests and clients. 

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a commercially focused leader with:

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing management, ideally within luxury hotels or hospitality.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • A creative, strategic thinker with strong business acumen and results orientation.

  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing, revenue management, and hospitality distribution channels.
