Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Main Kitchen Artist to join our culinary team in Baghdad, Iraq. As the Main Kitchen Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious dishes that elevate our guests' dining experience, if you create stunning pieces using chocolate, sugar, ice, fruits, or vegetables, this is your opportunity to shine

Passion for creating edible art that tells a story or expresses emotion

Skills in chocolate/sugar sculpting, ice carving, or fruit & vegetable carving

A creative mindset with strong attention to detail

A desire to push artistic and culinary boundaries

Previous experience in creating artistic food displays or presentations (a plus)

Assist in managing food costs and minimizing waste through creative use of ingredients

Participate in menu tastings and provide feedback on dish improvements

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Proven track record of creating visually appealing and innovative dish presentations
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques
  • Excellent understanding of flavor profiles and ingredient pairings
  • Proficiency in menu planning and development
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Current food safety certification
