Job Description
- Ensure duties are performed as per HACCP guidelines
- Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.
- Prepare Requisition for all goods needed.
- Prepare and set up the food for a la carte or buffet as per hotel standards
- Maintain and establish standardized quality of food according to SOPs and Menus
- Brief instructions accordingly
- Follow up banquet event order
- Establish and maintains effective relation with all the employees.
- Coordinates functions and activities with other F&B departments.
Qualifications
- Culinary training and certification NTC 3 Food Production (Pastry) or equivalent as a minimum
- Professional experience in luxury hospitality of at least two years as Assistant Pastry Cook
- Holder of valid Food Handler Certificate
- Good cooking foundation
- Comfortable with both a la carte and buffet style set up, sense of creativity.
- Can work under pressure & adaptable at all times
- Willing to work in shifts or extended number of hours, can work well under pressure, proactive and a team player
- Attention to detail and quality, guest oriented mindset
