Job Description

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a passionate Demi Chef with experience in:

  • Creative pastry production
  • Ingredient preparation and high-quality execution of dishes for the larder and or hot sections.
  • Mastering techniques such as butchery, purée crafting, sautéing, and tempura preparation.
  • Inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
  • Experience is Asian dining with at least 2 years minimum exposure
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop new culinary concepts and menu items.
  • Cook well in a team while pre-empting the needs of customers and your co-workers
  • Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with culinary trends.

Qualifications

Your Background:

  • Proven track record in kitchens specializing in global cuisines like Korean fusion and Japanese traditions.
  • Experience in handling large volumes (e.g., buffet setups for 100+ guests).
  • A flair for innovation, and trying new concepts within a kitchen environment
  • Strong focus on food safety, quality, and presentation standards.
  • Experience in making Korean Desserts
  • Must be able to work in a rotating roster (Must be able to work on the weekends)
  • Experience in hotels

The pay rate for this role is $29.11 with a minimum of 32 hours guaranteed full-time contract
