Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and passionate Reservations team!

You'll be managing reservations for Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis at Sydney Olympic Park, where no two days are the same. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Team Leader plays a key role as one of the first points of contact for our guests.

Our Reservations Sales Agents:

  • Accurately and efficiently receive and process guest reservations

  • Communicate with our guests via phone and email

  • Consistently provide professional and friendly service

  • Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests

  • Take initiative to respond in a timely manner to all guest relations concerns, or escalate concerns where required to the relevant department/manager

  • Support the Reservations Manager with onboarding and training of new team members

  • Drive Hotel Brand Standards as well as LQA Premium & Upscale Standards within the team

  • Assist the Groups team with loading reservations, managing rooming lists, and preparing quotations when required

  • Demonstrate strong time-management skills to ensure high-priority tasks are actioned promptly by the team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including Saturdays, when required. 
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • A genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar or customer service based role is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud, Sevenrooms and RESAweb preferred
