Job Description

We are seeking energetic Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our dedicated Housekeeping Team.

In this role you will work within guest rooms, ensuring each room is kept clean, tidy and immaculately presented at all times. We are seeking people who go that extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience. 

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Service and clean assigned guest rooms ensuring that rooms are perfectly presented to hotel standard.
  • Report all maintenance and repair requirements and missing items as per procedure.
  • Ensure store rooms and trolleys are kept neat and stocked, and in good working order.
  • Carry out deep cleaning duties as required.
  • Follow the correct procedures for lost property items.
  • Handle all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to work health and safety WHS standards.
  • Assist with other duties in the housekeeping department as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with good problem-solving abilities
  • Physical fitness to stand, lift, push and pull for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of chemicals
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to challenging situations
