The Spa Executive is responsible for overseeing all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and maintaining financial viability.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Rigorously maintain the facility in optimal condition while strictly adhering to all aspects of the operations budget.
  • Implement stringent measures to control payroll and expenses.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Ensure unwavering client comfort and satisfaction at all times.
  • Maintain punctuality for appointments and conduct thorough post-appointment reviews.
  • Uphold impeccable cleanliness and organisation standards in all work areas.
  • Meticulously manage inventory of massage oils, towels, sheets, and other essential supplies.
  • Demonstrate exemplary professionalism in all interactions with members and guests, addressing facility-related inquiries with utmost competence.
  • Execute all Body Treatments with precision and expertise.
  • Continuously monitor and implement current industry trends in body treatments.
  • Diligently maintain all required professional licences.
  • Promptly report equipment malfunctions to the Operations Manager.
  • Provide comprehensive assistance across all spa departments as required, including Fitness, Facility Operations, Front Desk/Reception, and Retail.
  • Develop and promote bespoke spa programmes for conference groups with strategic intent.
  • Conduct thorough competitive analysis, including location, services, pricing, and promotions.
  • Meticulously prepare and update service operations manuals.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of rigorous staff training programmes in all aspects of Spa operations.
  • Conduct regular, in-depth employee in-services on accepted techniques, programmes, and proper equipment and product usage.
  • Provide comprehensive tours for potential clients/members as needed.
  • Engage in strategic meetings with product vendors.
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory management for the Body Tech department with utmost precision.

Guest Service Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the facility consistently maintains peak operational and cleanliness standards.
  • Prioritise guest/member satisfaction by upholding the highest standards of safety and service.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Implement efficient and effective scheduling systems for all Massage Therapists.
  • Rigorously monitor and control departmental payroll.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
  • Maintain meticulous inventory control for Body Tech services.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hotel and provincial regulations through accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct thorough selection interviews for new hires as required.
  • Lead weekly/monthly Massage departmental communication meetings and represent Massage Therapists in weekly Spa departmental meetings with authority and professionalism.
