Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Finance department, including financial planning, budget management, and analysis of monthly operating results
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
  • Prepare annual reports, financial forecasts, and analyses for contract negotiations and investment decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
  • Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues and direct financial audits
  • Conduct regular checks on financial procedures across all operational areas

 

Team Management

 

  • Recruit, develop, and manage finance team members, including performance reviews and addressing performance issues
  • Collaborate with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, and development of team members
  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings to facilitate communication and address issues

 

Other Responsibilities

 

  • Attend required briefings, meetings, and trainings
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene
  • Be aware of hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Management

 

Qualifications

Qualifications for Director of Finance:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance at a 5 stars international chain hotel
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance roles, including 3 years in financial planning and management
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and financial analysis
  • Experience in budgeting, auditing, and managing corporate finance processes
  • Excellent communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written)
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic environment
