Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Oversee daily operations of the Finance department, including financial planning, budget management, and analysis of monthly operating results
- Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
- Prepare annual reports, financial forecasts, and analyses for contract negotiations and investment decisions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
- Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues and direct financial audits
- Conduct regular checks on financial procedures across all operational areas
Team Management
- Recruit, develop, and manage finance team members, including performance reviews and addressing performance issues
- Collaborate with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, and development of team members
- Conduct monthly departmental meetings to facilitate communication and address issues
Other Responsibilities
- Attend required briefings, meetings, and trainings
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene
- Be aware of hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications
Qualifications for Director of Finance:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance at a 5 stars international chain hotel
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance roles, including 3 years in financial planning and management
- Strong skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and financial analysis
- Experience in budgeting, auditing, and managing corporate finance processes
- Excellent communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic environment
