Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Signing in and out the vehicle key from Security
  • Check for damage to the vehicle and record any new damage not entered in the vehicle’s log book
  • Enter any new damage in the log book and report it to the Maintenance Manager who will inform the GSM
  • Check the fuel level of each bus and fill each morning daily Monday-Sunday – seven (7) hours per week
  • Clean each bus (interior/exterior) according to schedule, ensure that debris is completely removed
    • Summer Schedule (April to September) for interior cleaning daily Monday-Sunday – twelve (12) hours per week
    • Summer Schedule (April to September) for exterior cleaning on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday – twelve (12) hours per week
    • Winter Schedule (October to March) for interior cleaning on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday – nine (9) hours per week
    • Winter Schedule (October to March) for exterior cleaning on Monday and Thursday – six (6) hours per week
  • Fill in the vehicle log book of any findings daily
  • Return the vehicle to designated parking area, lock up and return key to Security
  • Strict adherence to all Health & Safety training, guidelines and work practices previous, during and following an epidemic (whether local or global) that are established by Accor, local government, international bodies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for disease control (CDC)
  • Perform any other duties, tasks, and assignments within your department as required

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Proven excellent work and attendance record
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Must be in good physical condition as frequent and repetitive lifting is required
  • Proven ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a multi-cultural, diverse environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team based environment
  • Strong work ethic, highly responsible, reliable and the ability to work extended hours including overnight, public holidays and weekends is required

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
