Job Description

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Heart of House Porter to join the Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at the OWO.

Reporting into Heart of House Manager, you will be responsible for providing the appropriate support to the various Food & Beverage outlets and front of office.

 

Specifically, as the Heart of House Porter, your responsibility’s will include:

  • All the areas that apply to BOH
  • Maintaining of crockery, glassware, cutlery
  • Maintaining stock of all items that relate to BOH.
  • Understanding of the business needs
  • Organising the BOH stores to an acceptable standard
  • Managing of waste disposal and recycling
  • Organising and cleaning of the loading bay
  • Organising of deliveries and distributing them to the appropriate place.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • A proven track record and ability to provide high levels of service under pressure
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken
  • An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24h operational schedule when required.
  • Good etiquette and presentation
  • Good understanding of working in a department that provides assistance to multiple outlets
  • Understanding of health and safety, food safety, and COSHH
