Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a baker intern to be part of the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Head Baker, you will:

  • Produce bakery goods of the highest quality and standard, using authentic methods and techniques, shaping by hand, and always one step ahead of industry trends; you’ll be a key part of a winning team that creates truly exceptional dining experiences.
  • Craft a range of breads, rolls, baguettes, bun dough, scones, laminate dough, pastry and cakes with creativity and flair, developing delicious combinations of taste and texture.
  • Continuously develop and innovate the product range, you’ll work with our Head Baker on ideas and techniques which make our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment.
  • Make sure our operation run without hitch, our service preparation is smooth, and our food hygiene standards are sky-high.
  • Working to tight deadlines, you’ll rise to the challenge with a positive attitude and approach
