Reporting to the Chef of Restaurants or Banquet Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Communicate with external and internal guests alike to plan and execute special requests
• Organize, execute and ensure completion to standard from mise en place to finished products for either BEO or outlet orders
• Ensure quality standards and health and safety standards are met and followed by colleagues as well as all Hotel policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a 2nd cook in all aspects of high volume à la carte and banquet environment
• Experience in fast-paced banquet kitchen and restaurant is required
• Able to work calmly and in high-pressure situations
• Project a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Developed culinary style and up-to-date with food & beverage current trends
• Must be flexible with scheduled hours of work and be able to work all shifts

Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
