Assistant Maître D':
Support the Performance:
- Assist the Maestro: Support the Maître D’ in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring a flawless dining experience for every guest.
- Drive Revenue: Maximize covers and service levels, contributing to the restaurant’s financial success by keeping the show running smoothly.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, from greeting guests to fond farewells, upholding the highest standards of service.
- Warm Welcome: Greet guests and welcome them to The Waterlot Inn, setting the stage for a memorable and exceptional experience.
Behind the Scenes:
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries and requests with grace, professionalism, and a focus on creating memorable experiences.
- Brand Ambassador: Ensure adherence to brand standards, providing consistent and exceptional service that aligns with The Waterlot Inn’s reputation.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and inspire the wait staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages peak performance.
- Ambiance Creation: Maintain a clean and organized dining room, ensuring the perfect ambiance for an exceptional dining experience.
Your Leadership Role:
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop your team, helping them grow and excel in their roles.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Maître D’ to implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Operational Problem-Solver: Quickly address any issues that arise, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Leader: At least 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Customer Service Excellence: Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Organizational Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to maintain clear communication and records.
- Technical Expertise: Technically minded with the ability to troubleshoot and support the Point of Sale system effectively.
- Liquor and Wine Knowledge: Strong knowledge of liquor and wine, including ordering, inventory taking, and providing exceptional beverage service.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
