Job Description

  • Keeping hotel financial records in order
  • Processes invoices, transactions, room charges, refunds, and prepares checkout bills
  • Monitors and checks accounting ledger
  • Verifying that all accounts are balanced and supported by documentation
  • Audits financial statement accounts such as receivables and revenues
  • Posts room taxes and charges
  • Processes discounts and vouchers
  • Tracks room availability and occupancy
  • Prepares daily reports and summary cash balance
  • Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Handling/Responding to guests' needs, requests, and complaints.
  • Answering the phone and making reservations.
  • Summarizing each night's operations, and listing any follow-up tasks for management.
  • Following End of Day Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and front desk experience
  • Opera System expert
  • Proficient in MS Office, PMS, and CRM software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field is a plus
  • Past experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
  • Analytical mind, with strong attention to detail and an affinity for numbers.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive work ethic.
  • Strong aptitude for customer service.
