Job Description

First impressions are everything! As a Houseperson we want our Guests to have a sparkling experience every time they walk in, whether it be the lobby or the hallways or the guest rooms. The pride you take in ensuring all areas of the hotel and guest rooms are detailed, clean and tidy will reflect in the Guests view of our property as one of superior quality.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Maintain the cleanliness and detailing of public spaces, guest rooms, hallways, storage and service areas
  • Organization & cleaning of both front & back of house and storage areas
  • To ensure that all specified tasks are cleaned and presented within the allocated time frame, to the standard required by the Housekeeping Manager
  • Report needed repairs of unsafe equipment and\or conditions
  • Follow all policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • Other duties as assigned 

Hourly Rate: $23.64 Gross per hour

Qualifications

  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Previous cleaning/detailing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to be precise and detailed
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Constant lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
