 What will you do?     

Due to internal movement, we're excited to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our People, Safety and Sustainability team.

In this role, you'll be part of a team delivering H&S best practice to Firstgas Group's operations and activities.  You’ll be joining a supportive team in a hybrid working environment, who work within an atmosphere where autonomy and flexibility compliments the challenging and interesting work environment. 

You can expect to:

• Assist with delivery of the Group HSQE Plan, working within the broader People, Safety and Sustainability (PSS) team.
• Provide H&S technical advice and support to employees, franchisees, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Promote the use and continuous development of safety management systems, standards and tools throughout the business.
• Develop and embed internal H&S training refreshers.
• Hazard and Risk Management (initial, review, monitoring).
• H&S data monitoring and analysis and reporting.

As well as being a great team player who is passionate about what you do, you will have:

• 5+ years' H&S experience with high risk activities 
• Superior communication and influencing skills
• Excellent writing skills - able to adjust to different audiences
• Experience with behavioural based safety observation programmes.
• A relevant tertiary Health, Safety or Environmental Management qualification.
