Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Portfolio Manager to lead a high performing team within the Centre of Revenue Intelligence, driving revenue performance across a portfolio of hotels throughout the MEA APAC region.

Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Management, you will lead a team of Portfolio Managers and a Portfolio Specialist, while maintaining responsibility for an assigned portfolio of hotels. You will oversee the implementation of revenue management strategies, processes and best practices, ensuring commercial performance is aligned with regional priorities and business objectives.

As the senior commercial leader for your portfolio, you will partner closely with General Managers, Regional Directors of Revenue Management and Executive Leadership to deliver sustainable revenue growth, optimise distribution strategies and build a high performing revenue management culture across the team.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute portfolio-wide revenue management strategies in collaboration with Commercial departments.
  • Lead, coach and mentor Portfolio Managers and the Portfolio Specialist, fostering capability development, accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic revenue management leadership while directly managing a small portfolio of hotels.
  • Drive the consistent adoption of revenue management best practices, tools and processes across the portfolio.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex commercial matters, including hotel performance challenges, stakeholder issues and strategic decision making.
  • Oversee distribution-related activities, including troubleshooting, technology escalations and collaboration with OTA partners and revenue technology providers.
  • Analyse commercial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to regional leadership.
  • Prepare and present executive level reporting, including portfolio performance, commercial insights and key business initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with General Managers, Regional Directors of Revenue Management, hotel leadership teams, owners and key commercial stakeholders to influence business outcomes.
  • Champion a high performance culture that delivers measurable improvements in RevPAR, market share and overall commercial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in Revenue Management, including demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Extensive expertise in revenue management, pricing, forecasting, distribution and commercial strategy within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted commercial advisor beyond traditional revenue management responsibilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching and communication skills, with experience engaging General Managers, Executive Leadership, Owners and Asset Managers.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into business outcomes.
  • Highly organised, proactive and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while leading a geographically dispersed portfolio.
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language, written and spoken, is required. Two additional languages are preferred.
