Job Description

Junior Procurement Category Manager - Non-Food Consumables (m/f/d) - Apprenticeship

Are you ready to gain hands-on experience within one of the world’s leading hospitality groups? As a Junior Procurement Category Manager within ASTORE, you play a pivotal role in supporting the development of procurement strategies for non-food consumables (such as Amenities, OS&E, etc.), help identify hotel needs, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to responsible sourcing initiatives.

 

What will you do?

  • Assist in developing strategies for your categories, with focus on Non-food consumables, based on customer needs, market trends and innovation topics such as AI and plastic reduction
  • Support the management of product and service assortments, including marketplace content and hotel communication materials such as newsletters
  • Contribute to sourcing activities, including supplier screening, proposal analysis, shortlisting, negotiation support and contract implementation
  • Help manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, contract execution and invoicing data
  • Track key data and performance indicators to support decision-making and category development
  • Support CSR initiatives by promoting certified sustainable solutions and assessing suppliers against environmental and social criteria

Qualifications

Your profile:

  • Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Fluency in French and English is a must
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Adaptable, autonomous and customer-oriented
