Job Description
• Promotion Strategy & Forecasting :
Support the Senior Manager in designing the commercial promotion calendar by providing data-backed recommendations on discount levels and booking windows
Build demand forecasts for upcoming promotions, predicting room-night pick-up and revenue impact based on historical seasonality and market trends
Monitor "on-the-fly" performance of active promotions, flagging if a campaign is underperforming against its forecast early enough to pivot strategy
• Post-Campaign Analysis (Post-Mortems) :
Conduct deep-dive analyses on completed promotions to measure Incremental Lift (revenue that wouldn't have happened without the offer) vs. Dilution (revenue from guests who would have booked anyway)
Evaluate the impact of promotions on different segments and channels to determine which offers resonate best with specific audiences
Present key findings and "Lessons Learned" to stakeholders to refine the strategy for the next quarter
• Marketing Analytics Support :
Provide day-to-day analytical support to the Director of Marketing Analytics, specifically focusing on how marketing spend translates into commercial bookings
Assist in tracking Campaign Impact across various channels, helping to visualize the correlation between marketing "noise" and actual revenue "pace.“
Help maintain data hygiene for marketing attribution models, ensuring that campaign tags and source tracking are accurate
• Commercial Reporting Integration :
Synthesize promotional data into the broader team dashboards, ensuring the leadership team has a clear view of how "Offer Revenue" fits into the total performance picture
Automate recurring promotion reports to reduce manual data entry and increase time spent on strategic insights
Qualifications
Background:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Planning, or Data Analytics
- Master's degree
Mandatory skills:
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry
- Programming experience in SQL, Python, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences & develop C-level
- Fluent in French/ English
Preferred skills:
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Tableau
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy and data integrity
- Experience working in international or multicultural business environments
