Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Cluster General Manager to lead and oversee operations across our Jeddah and Makkah locations - Saudi Arabia in IBIS & Adagio Jeddah City Centre and IBIS Styles / Mercure Makkah Aziziyah. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and building high-performing teams across the cluster. The ideal candidate will bring decisive leadership, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of managing multi-unit operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for the cluster, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market opportunities in the Jeddah and Makkah regions
  • Oversee all operational aspects across multiple locations, including staffing, inventory management, customer service standards, and facility maintenance
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by analyzing market trends, optimizing pricing strategies, and implementing cost-control measures
  • Build, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development
  • Manage P&L responsibilities for the cluster, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate leadership, local partners, and community organizations
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, implementing corrective actions to achieve or exceed targets
  • Lead change management initiatives and drive organizational improvements across the cluster
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
  • Identify and develop talent within the organization, creating succession plans and career advancement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 5 years in a multi-unit or cluster leadership role
  • Proven expertise in P&L management, financial analysis, and business planning
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Experience in performance management, talent development, and organizational change management
  • Knowledge of the local market dynamics in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the Jeddah and Makkah regions
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to evolving business needs
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are preferred
