Job Description
As the Director of Procurement, you will:
- Lead and co-create the procurement transformation journey—shifting from traditional procurement to a more agile, value-driven function that aligns with business growth.
- Develop bespoke category strategies—leveraging market intelligence, macro/micro trends, and data-driven insights.
- Champion supplier innovation and redesign preferred supplier impact—delivering solutions that enhance client experience and profitability.
- Drive sustainability (ESG) initiatives—embedding responsible sourcing practices in alignment with global ESG targets.
- Coach, mentor, and empower a team of category managers to excel in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and stakeholder management.
- Enhance procurement’s role as a business enabler—building stronger cross-functional relationships across Accor’s corporate, operations, and hotel network.
- Ensures that internal customers will be supplied with the products they need in order to operate effectively, with the continuous aim of providing luxury services and satisfying hotel guests.
- Centralizes purchase requests from internal customers and process related LPOs.
- Maintains permanent communication with buyers, Director of Finance Controller, various departments in the hotel and suppliers in order to: .
- Coordinates with purchasing chain actors to ensure smooth operation & business continuity
- Centralizes the needs of all the hotel's departments and ensures they are supplied.
- Ensures that deliveries correspond to orders and applies storage guidelines.
- Manages supplier relations.
- Indicates when stocks are running low or when they are excessive.
- In conjunction with the Heads of Department, is responsible for managing inventories and end-of-month closings in compliance with the administrative and accounting procedures.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Proven procurement leadership experience, ideally within hospitality, F&B, retail, or related industries.
- Exceptional negotiation skills—you know how to drive supplier partnerships that create true win-win outcomes.
- A strong commercial mindset—with a focus on delivering measurable value and bottom-line impact.
- Strategic & innovative thinking—able to reimagine procurement beyond cost-cutting into a true value-generating function.
- Experience managing a high-performing team—with the ability to coach, inspire, and elevate talent.
- Expertise in running large-scale RFPs and contract negotiations.
Additional Information
Your experience and skills include:
- Five or more years’ operating experience in a similar capacity within a Premium or luxury hotel
- Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis.
- Demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
