At Accor we are recruiting a Finance Director for one of our partners. Our partner is a family company currently developing its activities in multi-brand hotel management in Spain and France with several years of experience, as well as diversified activities in different sectors ranging from vineyard to technology.

The successful candidate will be based in the headoffice form our partner in Madrid.

Job Description

As Financial and Administrative Director:

  • Responsible for coordinating the activities of the three accounting divisions (Spain, La Roche-sur-Yon and Poitiers).
  • Manage the accounting team.

WHAT DOES THE POSITION CONSIST OF?

The main tasks are:

  • Coordinate and lead the activities of the 3 Spanish and French accounting divisions.
  • Oversee activities related to treasury management, payroll, social security and tax returns, accounts receivable management and accounts payable management.
  • Carrying out annual closings and preparation of financial statements (including consolidation).
  • Overseeing Group Management Controlling and preparing reports for the ComEx.
  • As the right hand of the CEO, you will also be responsible for:
  • Management of the Group's treasury
  • Supervision of external partners (accounting firms, auditors, etc.)
  • Liaison with banks and capital partners
  • Elaboration of development financing plans.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management control or finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management position.
  • Leadership skills to unite your team around a collective project to achieve qualitative and economic objectives.
  • Thoroughness, organizational skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-site environment in an international context.
  • Fluent in Spanish and French is a must.
