Accor Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) – Astore, is Accor’s fast-growing and innovative Procurement department, revolutionizing the hospitality sector by offering responsible products and services necessary to ensure the proper functioning of all hospitality businesses.
Collaborating with ~5000 suppliers across the world, Accor GPO – Astore is covering most of hospitality needs. A team of ~260 experts serving ~8,000 customers in 30 countries sources, negotiates, and promotes sustainable & competitive offers.
Accor GPO – Astore’s organization is global (with Holding teams and Luxury & Lifestyle teams) and local (with Premium / Midscale / Economy teams based in 4 Hubs: Europe North Africa, Middle East Asia Pacific, Americas, Greater China).
The Holding organization has several poles: Global Category Management, Procurement Digital Factory and Sustainability, Strategy & Finance.

 

 

Job Description

Responsible for selecting suppliers and negotiating specific conditions and price lists for our final clients and promoting solutions internally. 
Perform category management activities across multiple countries. Travel across the hubs.

Main responsibilities
FF&E- Category Expertise
Own & propose category strategy for FF&E
Develop and define sourcing strategy for FF&E
Ease, formulate and deliver the category strategy, the understanding of drivers, market forces
Support category knowledge to grow procurement offers 


FF&E - Suppliers mgt & market Knowledge 
Manage International technologies contracts 
Secure sustainable partnership with strategic suppliers
Accountable for category suppliers’ management (Governance & Business Review) 
Secure supplier selection processes with RFI / RFQ  
Ensure the best conditions in the market 
Ease business & market intelligence 


Spend & Budget
Control spend of FF&E & capture Rate of specific categories & Crunch data 
Responsible for the budget achievement 
Identify opportunities of growth revenue
Manage remuneration processes of the FF&E contracts

Support Category Visibility
Support & actively promote the Group procurement function
Develop category communities for all regions 
Align category strategy with key stakeholders
Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders to drive the overall  strategy
Communicate spend, remuneration and capture rate of the categories contracts
Engage, secure an open dialogue with stakeholders
Able to sell solutions internally and externally 


Compliance and transversal projects
Lead successfully ESG & Compliance projects (zero plastic, carbon program)
Inflation/Deflation reporting and tracking 
Identify solutions to increase the capture rate
Track KPIs implementation to monitor category performance & adoption
Report & follow remuneration processes (declaration, budget, forecasts, payments, etc.)
Ensure 100% of your suppliers comply to Accor ESG compliance processes 
Ensure supplier selection respects GPO Source to Contract Process

Main complexity / critical issues in the job
Demonstrate agility and resilience to changes
Lead at an international level the FF&E portfolio (suppliers, hotels, customers)
Maintain and improve global performance (contract, data, suppliers)
Be able to develop the relationship with all regions, divisions, brands and customers to increase compliance
Develop leadership with internal/external customers to satisfy their expectations by increasing business opportunities worldwide
Position is international, and requires to deal with many stakeholders
Manage market uncertainty

Qualifications

Formation & experience
At least 6 years experience in procurement with an international background
Relevant work experience in negotiation 
Proven track record as a category manager & Buyer
Awareness in distribution, BtB, or BtC, E-commerce
Contract management
Experience in required categories
Hospitality experience is a plus

Skills & profile
Ability to listen, understand and influence customers’ needs (stakeholders and hotels)
Able to work in international environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Personal integrity and strong work ethics
Problem solver – uses facts and logic to find solutions
Adaptable – learns quickly, is curious, takes risks, enjoys challenges and deals well with ambiguity
Language: Fluent English (for daily working), French
