Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Manager Midscale Brands - Experience (Grand Mercure, Mercurel & Handwritten) to join our Global Brand & Marketing Team. This is an exciting role supporting the transformation if these outstanding midscale brands.  

Reporting to VP Midscale Brands (experience), the Manager will play an integral role within the Global Brand & Marketing organisation developing and launching culturally relevant experiences that are conscious, and drive brand desirability, relevance, and preference.  

The Manager in close collaboration with marketing, design, regional and transversal teams (e.g., loyalty, digital, sponsorships, partnerships…) will be responsible for driving  workstreams related to defining and executing brand experience, signature experiences, product strategy and operating standards.

What you will be doing: 

Brand Experience Design  

  • Support in the development and implementation of the Brand Customer Journey (pre to post) and contribute in briefings to stakeholders  
  • Manage implementation and measurement of brand & OS&E Standards in hubs.  
  • Brand Management, Develop New Products, Sub-Brands, Signature Moments (Arrival, Stay, Service, F&B, Wellness, Events, Sustainability, Family, MICE etc.) 
  • Manage implementation of brand partnerships in collaboration with brand marketing (including Calm and Rituals), on property to enhance guest experience. 
  • Contribute to the vision for tools & resources required for Talent Experience, Service Culture, and Trainings 
  • Support On-Property Touchpoint Optimisation and integration of ALL (ICP) 
  • Support in the development of Digital/Technology Enabled Experience (On-Property) in collaboration with CX team.  
  • Support the embedding of Sustainability Standards and Commitment 

Brand product strategy  

  • Obsess about Portfolio Management and champion PURE 
  • Support on developing Brand Development Cost Model and Brand Investment Model & Pitch 

Design & development guidelines 

  • Lead the development and implementation of guidelines by collaborating with and using expertise of D&TS.  This includes: design briefs;  design concepts, guidelines & technical specifications; development guidelines;  architectural and spatial design, construction and renovation standards, way finding & signage. 

Brand health: measure, optimise  

  • Measure experience as per new Brand Dashboard including guess satisfaction and RPS 
  • Focus on and follow-up on brand Commercial Health 
  • Champion Consumer Sentiment for the brand 
  • Co-design Operational Delivery with hubs, and follow-up on implementation (objective is 70%) 
  • Support Performance Optimization of the brand 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred in business or marketing 
  • 5+ years in international brand management & marketing  
  • Strong affinity with hospitality, with background in hotel operations 
  • Strategically oriented with analytical and creative mind  
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills   
  • Ability to work transversally  
  • Ability to influence  
  • Project management
