Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Mid-Atlantic, the General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the hotel in accordance with company standards, mission statement, vision and values. The maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and colleague development are an integral part of the position. Furthermore it is essential to lead the hotel Executive Team in the development and communication of strategies, goals and objectives as well as the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotels while managing, growing and fostering positive owner relations and maximizing performance.

Qualifications
- Prior 5+ years’ experience in luxury hotel management as a General Manager
- Strong match with Accor’s Leadership Capability Framework
- Strong educational background
- Fluency in English
- Good understanding of the local market (previous experience preferred)
- Understanding/experience of union relations – where applicable
- Experience with owner relationships
- Must be strategic, creative and able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on overall goals
- Excellent speaking, presentation and storytelling skills
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Adaptable & flexible with the capacity to set high goals and standards
