Job Description
Night Audit & Administration
- Complete night audit procedures and ensure accuracy of daily reports.
- Prepare and distribute management reports as required.
- Reconcile accounts and cash handling procedures in accordance with hotel policies.
- Maintain accurate records and logs throughout the shift.
Meeting Room Setup
- Prepare and set up meeting and conference rooms in accordance with function sheets and guest requirements.
- Arrange furniture, equipment, stationery, refreshments, and signage as specified.
- Conduct checks to ensure meeting rooms are clean, presentable, and fully operational before events commence.
- Liaise with relevant departments regarding meeting room requirements and changes.
Security & Fire Safety
- Conduct regular fire patrols and security checks throughout the hotel during the night.
- Ensure fire exits, escape routes, and fire safety equipment remain accessible and compliant.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or security concerns immediately.
- Respond appropriately to fire alarms, emergencies, and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all fire patrols and security inspections.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations.
General Duties
- Carry out regular walk-rounds of public areas to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Assist with basic housekeeping or maintenance requests where appropriate.
- Support other hotel departments during the night operation as required.
- Ensure the hotel lobby and reception area remain clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by management.
