Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team at Novotel Malta Sliema. The role is ideal for an organised and motivated individual who enjoys working with numbers and has a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for supporting the hotel’s day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining proper accounting records.
Conducting bank reconciliations and nominal account reconciliations.
Handling daily operational requirements within the accounts department.
Posting up to trial balance stage.
Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts.
Reconciling account statements and issuing payments.
Qualifications
Previous work experience in accounting or finance.
Proficient in the use of MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Good knowledge of Maltese and English with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while remaining flexible.
