Role: IT Project Manager
Job Description
· Responsible for managing project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables of an IT projects.
· Responsible for on-going project review, planning, directing and controlling
· Responsible project risk management
· Responsible for managing project resources, including vendors. Co-ordinate the activities of a team of system development, maintenance and support staffs.
· Establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer
· Work with users, BA and SA to define business needs and objectives of a system/project
· Prepare RFPs, assess proposals from vendors and recommend the solution that best meeting business needs and objectives
· Ensure system development process and system output are conforming to regulation requirements and guidelines
· Provides day to day direction to the project team and regular project status update/reporting to the customer and steering committee
· Responsible for the project repository which contains copies of deliverables, correspondences, MOM in hardcopy and softcopy
· Compliance to organization policies and standards
· Recommend training for staff
· Work closely with PMO to ensure compliance to project governance.
· Support handover to BAU team upon rollout of project.
· Update Lesson learnt from project into the IT Project Asset
