Job Description

***This position is on-site at the Corporate headquarters and therefore, the candidate for this position must be located in Austin, Texas or surrounding area**

The Enrollment Management Intern will serve as a general contact for student inquiries, nurture leads, and support the team by assisting with various administrative tasks to help facilitate the participant pre-departure process.

Lead generation and general inquiry advising

  • Manage (2) general email accounts and monitor API Chat
  • Serve as a first point of contact for general inquiries, promoting API programs via telephone, virtual advising, and email to prospective students and parents
  • Answer general questions related to API programs and help participants identify programs as needed prior to directing the inquirer to a Program Coordinator
  • Capture leads by gathering their intake information and adding student details into Salesforce and nurture leads through a follow-up process to help convert to applicants

Administrative admissions support

  • Assists in admissions process (i.e., application review) for the Program Coordinators by uploading application documents in Salesforce
  • Review select post-acceptance forms housed within Salesforce for accuracy such as the Transcript Release Form, Passport Information, and passport photo
  • Order insurance and electronic insurance letters (for purposes of the student visa) for program participants; reconcile insurance invoices
  • Audit for orientation packet holds/confirmation payments in Salesforce for Direct Bill contract students
  • Upload Financial Aid Verification Forms and Alternative Payment Arrangement forms to Google Drive and assist in reviewing Consortium Agreements as needed
  • Assist with all mailings such as the visa packet mailings (as/if available)
  • Assist in audit projects as assigned
  • Attend Enrollment Management meetings

Qualifications

    THIS ROLE IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:

    • A college graduate someone with the equivalent combination of education and experience
    • An excellent communicator: professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail-oriented
    • Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency (recognize that when a student is looking for information, they want it immediately)
    • Technical in aptitude or familiar with Salesforce, Groove, Hubspot, WordPress and/or other marketing technologies (this is also a great opportunity to gain experience with these tools as part of the internship and learning journey)
