In collaboration with the VP, Product Management and business stakeholders, the Product Owner will have the ability to shape the future of our products through insight, analysis and the ability to define, communicate and realize a vision.

THE WORK:

  • Lead detailed requirements gathering efforts as needed — consulting with design, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure requirements are available and understood by the Scrum team.
  • Test and validate new features as they are being built by the agile team.
  • Prioritize the product backlog items in order to maximize the ROI achieved by the Scrum team. Work closely with various stakeholders to determine what needs to be built, and when, in order to deliver the maximum business value.
  • Attend scrum meetings including stand-ups, planning, and backlog grooming.
  • Lead backlog grooming to refine and estimate stories.
  • Document new features and send release notes.
  • Demonstrate the latest iteration to customers (pre-release) and gather feedback.
  • Provide support to users of APIConnect.

  • Tech savvy with prior work experience with Jira (or other agile project management tools) and in an iterative-based development environment using Scrum.
  • Passionate about User Centered Design and strives to provide the best user experience possible by simplifying and putting users first.
