Position Overview

Lead the Team That Helps Injured Workers Get the Care They Need

When someone gets hurt on the job, the road to recovery can feel overwhelming. Our Medical Department makes sure our clients’ medical care keeps moving, and we’re looking for a Senior Medical Care Coordinator to help lead that effort.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for a team of 8–10 Medical Care Coordinators. You’ll guide, coach, and support them while keeping cases on track and making sure our work is accurate, timely, and compliant. If you know workers’ comp, enjoy helping others grow, and love making processes run smoother, this is your next step.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Support the Team

  • Be the day-to-day mentor and first point of contact for 8–10 Medical Care Coordinators
  • Help train and onboard new team members so they feel confident from day one
  • Step in to cover when teammates are out, so clients never miss a beat

Keep Cases Moving

  • Spot roadblocks early and escalate issues to keep cases progressing
  • Monitor team inboxes and workloads to make sure nothing slips through the cracks
  • Help teammates share clear process updates with clients when needed

Drive Quality & Improvement

  • Review case workflows and run audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Track team productivity using our case management system
  • Turn what you find into practical, helpful feedback for the team

Qualifications

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in workers’ compensation, personal injury, or medical case coordination
  • Comfort working with case management systems in a high-volume environment
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience mentoring, training, or leading team members (strongly preferred)
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a knack for improving processes
