Job Description

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Resident Services, the Resident Services Program Supervisor will provide supervision to a portion of the Resident Services staff and manage all aspects of data collection, analysis and development activities of the Beyond Homes program.  This position will take a leadership role with a focus on administration of Resident Services division. Responsibilities include administrative and supervisory oversight of some program staff, as well as coordination, contract and data management.  This position also provides training and education to resident services staff. 

•    Program Management & Oversight- In collaboration with the Vice President, Resident Services, provide for the successful implementation, coordination of participant services, achievement of program performance measures, and evaluation of program outcomes.  Ensure the program is in compliance with contracts, partnership agreements, regulatory agreements and all other funding requirements, program goals, and stakeholder expectations.  This includes program monitoring by funders, responding to specific program inquiries from outside partners, and conducting internal audits of program performance, reporting, and budgets.

•    Site Support – Rio Vista property, manage/support onsite services needs and program leaders in administration of afterschool programming.  Ensure seamless program delivery and support to residents.

•    Staff Support/Development- Supervisor will provide support, training and oversight of interdisciplinary team’s program by providing training and program guidance to Resident Service staff and third-party service providers. Identify and build relationships with nonprofit social and human services organizations that may deliver services on the site throughout portfolio.  Support VP Residents Services and Abode Communities’ development team through the preparation of service plans for new developments. Support Abode Communities’ Fund Development and Communications team with program grants, Beyond Homes fundraising tours, and other related projects.   

•    Documentation Supervision & Support- Oversee staff documentation of services, provide documentation support, training and review, to ensure all required documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner according to Abode Communities & funder requirements, including review of Family Metrics data reports and other electronic documentation required by Abode Communities and funders.  Oversee data management and develop new tracking models that align with yearly program goals. Examine and report on program metrics.  Develop and continuously update technical training guide/manual for data management. Ensure staff understand and follow guidelines consistently.

•    Program Outreach –Attend local coalition meetings comprised of community service providers and residents in order to represent Abode Communities. Seek common ground among the parties and help develop a working agenda on improving service to the community. 
•    Program development and evaluation- Work closely with Program Manager/RSC and VP Resident Services to develop innovative strategies and models to oversee implementation of social, educational and recreational programs for Resident Services portfolio as well as volunteer, local non-profit, governmental, or community resources.   Manage Egnyte folders and maintain order. 
 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Services or related discipline plus 4-5 years related experience in social work, human services case management, and/or related field required.  A bachelor’s degree plus an additional 6-8 years related experience may be substituted for a master’s degree. Minimum 2 years supervisorial experience required
  • Demonstrated experience supervising staff and providing appropriate coaching, guidance, training to ensure staff are supported and engaged and developing 
  • Demonstrated experience with program start-up preferred
  • Extensive experience working with program funders, audit and compliance
  • Ability to review program metrics, examine major trends and summarize key findings. Ability to define problems, collect relevant data, establish key facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions, and prepare supporting documentation as required
  • Knowledge of program management, experience preparing and monitoring program reports and budgets
  • Highly skilled at creating monitoring tools, reporting methods and analysis of data
  • Ability to initiate and maintain effective, cooperative-working relationships with community-based organizations, public, and private organizations, and staff
  • Prior experience serving as a team leader/supervisor in a cross-functional or matrixed environment; team building, training and mentoring experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, preferably in both English and Spanish.
  • Intermediate computer skills with programs such as Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation to travel to all service locations within the region.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
