Our Resident Services invest in the long term success of some 4,100 parents, children, seniors and people with special needs by offering its mission-critical social services programming at 18 residential locations. For families, these complimentary services aims to break the cycle of economic entrenchment through the provision of life skills and job readiness workshops for parents, as well as after-school academic enrichment, college preparatory and scholarship programs for youth and young adults. Specialized services aim to help seniors and people with special needs achieve self-sufficiency and retain their housing. All residents also enjoy access to an abundant referral system, social and community-resource events, and health/green living activities.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Regional Services Coordinator, the Site Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Support site staff 
  • Manage service center supplies and facility needs 
  • Manage and inputs program attendance logs
  • Work with site team and residents to develop and implement program activities to serve the specific targeted resident group
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for neighborhood and community providers to maximize utilization of resources
  • Conduct resident assessments to determine needs and interests for activities
  • Promote activities and programs through outreach to residents
  • Maintain documentation and resident files as required
  • Collect and inputs data, prepare reports 
  • Serve as program liaison with other site staff for the Regional Service Coordinator 
  • Assist Regional Service Coordinator with planning, developing, and organizing recreation programs and special events
  • Prepare promotional materials for scheduled events, including brochures, posters, advertisements, and flyers
  • Assists in monitoring the daily operations and activities of service centers
     

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.  Some college level coursework in a related field preferred.  Experience can be substituted for academic training.
  • 1 year of experience in youth development work.
  • 1 year of experience with administrative office work
  • Proficient in d Microsoft Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with diverse communities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community partners and families
  • Experience planning and implementing activities programs for the targeted resident group. Experience working with culturally diverse individuals and groups. Experience collaborating in a team environment, working with community providers and volunteers.

Additional Information

Pay: $17-$18/hour.
