We are seeking a QA Engineer who has recently graduated and is eager to start their career in software testing. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of automated testing frameworks, scripting languages and tools, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field of test automation. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using scripting languages and automation tools
• Analyze test results to ensure the software meets quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate software releases
• Work closely with lead automation to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration
• Identify and report software defects and issues in a timely manner
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of the software
• Continuously research and learn new test automation tools and technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks, scripting languages and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium and Git
• Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of test automation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge with Agile software development methodologies
• Understanding of API testing and RESTful web services is added advantage
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge with programming languages such as Java and Python
