Job Description
The Styling Coordinator is an entry level position supporting our A&F Men’s E-commerce Styling Team. The Styling Coordinator needs to be extremely organized and detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and work well on a team. They must be able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment and be knowledgeable and passionate about the brand and fashion industry.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Support Men’s photo ecommerce studio
Partner with women’s coordinator when necessary
Collaborate with the Omni Stylist/Lead Stylist to create an ongoing priority list and assist in prepping/organizing appropriate merchandise/racks to maximize shoot efficiency.
Utilize internal software to digitally create a shot list prior to each ecommerce shoot day and keep track of Jira/PRF needs and due dates
Keep track of samples (between flat sets and retouching, between campaign and floorsets) and maintain and organize the sample closet (including washing before and after shoots); hang and organize samples based on set date, work with the noted teams to monitor and obtain late / missing samples
Work with studio production team to find and pull priority items daily
Support the efficiency and organization of the prop/accessory closets (shoes, accessories, undergarments)
Download the styling team on any notes made by the merchant/product merchandising team.
Ensure that the model dressing areas are clean and maintained
Prep racks for daily ecommerce shoots
Audit and ensure that styling kits and supplies are in stock
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
Experience in retail sample coordinating, stock room organization, assisting styling or visual merchandising in a fast-paced cross-functional team
Must be organized, self-motivated, and passionate about branding and the e-commerce landscape
Great problem-solving skills, adaptable and solution oriented
Comfortable being on their feet and mobile
Takes ownership of studio organization, workflows, and operational excellence
Must have strong communication skills: team-orientated, positive, collaborative, proactive and business-savvy
Excited to be in a hands-on, support role that keeps the studio running seamlessly
Desire to stay up to date on e-commerce industry trends and other retail brands as they pertain to the A&F’s competitive landscape
