Job Description 

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring a PC Sourcing Specialist in New Albany, OH to support our Personal Care department. This position presents an excellent opportunity to support an industry-leading retail team in the ideation, development, and production of various fine fragrance and personal care products. The ideal candidate will possess some prior fragrance development and production experience.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Responsible for developing personal care products from concept through commercialization
  • Monitor fragrance industry trends and provide reporting to cross functional partners
  • Drives detailed project briefs to world class suppliers and fragrance houses
  • Manage product submits, feedback, and approvals with suppliers and internal teams
  • Clearly articulate product vision and product development progress to cross functional teams
  • Conduct and manage all produce performance testing
  • Ensure project tracking tools reflect project details
  • Support consumer panel testing
  • Assist in product corrective action and preventative action processes
  • Drive the quotations of raw materials
  • Manage detailed meeting notes and provide recaps
  • Collaborate regularly with internal and external partners
  • Assist marketing teams with copy and naming ideation

What Do You Need To Bring? 

 

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in fragrance development
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience  
  •  
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
