Job Description
The Assistant Personal Care Engineer is responsible for assisting with the development and audit of personal care goods through all stages of the product life-cycle. This person will work with a wide breadth of packaging materials for primary, secondary and tertiary development. This associate will be able to embrace a fast-paced environment that involves continuous learning and problem solving.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Drive the conceptualization of personal care and home fragrance packaging
- Create and manage all packaging specifications
- Manage new packaging development milestones
- Develop new packaging concepts via Solidworks and ArtiosCad
- Acquire approval of concepts via 3D printing and small batch production
- Validate all packaging by developing and executing testing protocols
- Bring packaging to market by driving tooling qualifications
- Communicate daily with cross functional teams on packaging development
- Manage raw material and finished good standards
- QA processes for packaging
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience. Engineering degree specializing in packaging or relevant experience.
- CPG CO-OP experience at a minimum
- Task-oriented and organized with a high attention to detail
- Ability to independently think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- A strong desire for adventure & curiosity
- Desire to learn & hunger for more
- A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brands
