The Audience Strategy & Personalisation Marketing Manager, EMEA will be responsible for the development of Strategies for both Audience Segments & Personalisation for the EMEA region across the Abercrombie & Hollister brands. This position will leverage data to identify critical audiences, build strategies, and test and learn against them. They will help make informed decisions about where to test and invest our Marketing budget in the region to drive growth. The key area of responsibility will be the leadership of the Sprint Process for Audience Marketing – an internal process designed to manage ongoing test and learning and inform our seasonal Marketing Strategies.

This job is located at our Regional Head Office in London, England.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Lead key Audience Strategy Planning Processes (Quarterly Increment Planning, Sprint Planning etc)
  • Lead Audience Strategy Sprint process including pre-sprint collaboration with Data & Analytics on insights and other cross-functional partner downloads, facilitation of work sessions, collaboration with Pod members, synthesizing outputs & creating wireframes
  • Manage WIP meetings to update Leadership on progress
  • Manage ongoing logistics with Traffic, additional requests with D&A, etc
  • Share test results & build consensus on long-term application
  • Shepherd execution of Tests amongst delivery partners
  • Share knowledge across regions
  • Oversee Personalization Strategy
  • Present and communicate EMEA Audience Strategy & Personalization strategies throughout the organization, including cross-functional partners and marketing leadership
  • Manage one direct report specializing in Personalization

  • Will have experience working as part of a regional team in a global company and be able to demonstrate evidence of having built strong, collaborative relationships with their internal global partners
  • Will have strong communication skills with stakeholder management experience at all levels of the organisation
  • Will be resilient, comfortable with ambiguity & will thrive in a fast-paced, fluid retail environment
  • Will demonstrate a strong customer focused approach and strive to achieve best in class execution
  • Will excel working both within a team and individually
  • Will be confident and comfortable in presenting and speaking to all levels
  • Will have a test and learn mentality, comfort failing and applying learnings go-forward
  • Will be a Marketing Strategist with cross-channel experience (email, push, media, site, app) & specific strength in media
  • Will display lateral agility to drive connectivity to Data Science, Data Strategy, Analytics, Experience, Creative, Media
  • Will demonstrate proficient technical literacy to foster partnership with Platform Owners
  • Wil be analytically-oriented with ability to translate insights into marketing strategies and understand test planning

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • 5+ years of Marketing Strategy experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar field
  • Strong knowledge of digital media, with particular emphasis on paid search, display, and paid social
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors or agencies
  • Strong commercial acumen & Excel skills
  • Ability to set forecasted goals and to develop business strategy that achieves goals
  • Must have attention to detail with a strong focus on analytics
  • Strong project management and inter-departmental coordination skills
  • Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment
  • Experience managing at least one individual
  • Experience having worked in a fast paced, multi-channel, retail environment
  • Ability to travel frequently to our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio
