This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

The Studio Omni Stylist role is a creative role, responsible for executing the elevated look and feel of the Abercrombie & Fitch brand, will support the styling team on the e-commerce studio set, in stores, and be a key member on a collaborative team responsible for establishing a strong styling point of view for A&F.  They will report to the Omni Styling Manager and partner with: Marketing (Creative/Art Direction), Visual, Design, and Merchandising to thread the brand styling perspective throughout each touchpoint.  The Studio Omni Stylist is an expert in industry trends and brings a unique point-of-view to styling a classic brand in a modern and commercial way that allows A&F’s personality to shine through online and in-store. 

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Manage men’s and women’s e-commerce studio team and communication with studio production to ensure shot count and priority items are outfitted and captured by designated dates.  

  • Manage and outfit daily e-commerce shoot rack. Assign looks by model and shoot day. Choreographing the sequence of looks for optimal efficiency and daily output. Reviewing with Omni-Styling Manager, AD, and Photographer prior to shooting.  

  • Ensure all on-figure imagery showcases best fit, feels comfortable and is styled with confidence. 

  • Communicate to Merchant/Design team sample needs and fit issues.   

  • Work with Art direction, studio production and Styling manager to scout new model talent and best talent to bring in weekly for e-commerce set for men and women.  Provide fit and pertinent model feedback for Art direction and Styling manager. 

  • Collaborate with Styling Lead / Director to update brand styling guides as well as any necessary documentation in the styling division for men and women. 

  • Based on the design creative direction and destinations/shops within the omni coordination process, partner with marketing/product strategy and DTC merchants to establish key looks and create omni-channel outfitting documents for each shop/presentation.  These looks should serve as the basis and creation for editorial campaign sample order, in-store and online merchandise presentations and reinforce clear product storytelling for customers.  

  • Support and engage in the styling workflow including, but not limited to; sample organization, steaming / prep, on-model shoot taskwork from setup to breakdown, in-store outfitting, mannequin dressing and digital documentation. 

  • Foster relationships with cross-functional teams and partners; with other creative and product facing departments (Design, Merchants, Planning, PCM and Inventory Management) to create the right presentations for our brands both online and in-store. 

  • Be customer-centric and obsessive of the brand; spend time in-store/online as needed, following influencers and aspirational brands creating seasonal inspiration direction for team. 

  • Maximize the financial success of our brands by clearly showcasing trends and leveraging must-win / must-grow departments into styling / outfitting and highlighting these details to our customer. 

  • Assist in campaign sample pass and facilitate sample sharing and organization across campaign, social content creation and monthly visual floor sets builds. 

  • Collaborate with the Brand Creative team to create and present outfitting for front of store and in-store presentations as it pertains to the overarching brand campaigns and messaging to leadership for each seasonal floorset and weekly update. 

  • Maintain an intimate understanding of the brand purpose, DNA and customer insights; stay up to date on e-commerce industry trends and other retail brands as they pertain to the A&F’s competitive landscape. 

 

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Marketing, or related experience 

  • 4+ years of styling experience in a fast-paced cross-functional team 

  • Experience working in an iconic branded environment for a global brand. 

  • Strong men’s and women’s outfitting and on-set skills with a good understanding of fitting multiple body types 

  • Experience leading and collaborating within a creative marketing team in studio and on-location shoots 

  • Excellent on-set styling acumen and experience on location, studio, and e-commerce shoots 

  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and passionate about men’s and women’s styling and branding for e-commerce landscape. 

  • Must have strong communication skills: team-orientated, positive, proactive and business-savvy 

  • Must be self-motivated, with ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities for self and others.
