Job Description 

Abercrombie & Fitch is seeking a highly motivated Manager of Corporate Strategy to join a high profile Corporate Strategy team. The role will focus on driving strategic initiatives that support the realization of the company’s “Always Forward” Long-Range Plan.  This includes partnering across functions on critical tasks like: supporting our executive leadership with strategic research and insights, working with brand and regional leaders to identify opportunities for growth, and developing mastery of market and competitor research to inform pivotal decisions. 

The right individual for the role is a self-starter, who thrives in ambiguous environments and excels at building cross-functional relationships. This person should be a natural leader, with excellent communication skills and boundless curiosity to learn and better the company are a must. A strong understanding of business fundamentals and prior experience in retail – especially working with wholesale, franchising, or licensing – are strongly preferred.  

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Working on high-profile strategic projects for the corporation and our brands, in direct partnership with leaders throughout the organization
  • Building brand and regional strategies to help realize the ambitions of our corporate Long Range Plan
  • Support annual updates to the company Long Range Plan and peer benchmarking
  • Partner with our brands on identifying strategic opportunities, informed by market and competitor research
  • Provide market intelligence leadership, reflecting a clear perspective on the customer mindset and state of the retail market
  • Assist in development of Board of Directors materials
  • Provide overall strategic support to our Global Home Offices wherever necessary to create impact and improve the business

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and partner with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing complex data to develop insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, and to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity, creativity, and motivation to push ANF to be the best it can be
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
  • Experience in Wholesale, Franchise, or Licensing retail preferred, but not required
