Job Description 

The Senior Director, Paid Media will lead and develop holistic media strategy for the enterprise, overseeing paid media and SEO for Hollister, Abercrombie Adults, Abercrombie kids and Gilly Hicks.   This individual will be responsible for managing and executing media strategies to strengthen the perception of our brands and meet critical performance objectives.   Additionally, this individual will provide thought leadership on how media fits within a connected marketing world to ensure media plans are strategically aligned and will be a key of Marketing Leadership team, contributing to Annual and seasonal go-to-market approach for all brands

 

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Crafting and executing full funnel media strategies for all brands with a robust test & learn approach
  • Pilot MMM integration, in partnership with Data & Analytics lead
  • Develop and bolster integrated partnerships with leading platforms (Tiktok, Google, Meta and Snap) to ensure that we are staying on the forefront of media innovation
  • Partner with and manage external agency team to execute, optimize, and measure all paid marketing channels
  • Partner with Data & Analytics team to create seasonal audience segmentation strategy for media targeting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing partners to ensure cohesion of both strategic and creative execution
  • Partner with creative, design and copy teams on developing content that will maximize the impact of our advertising; communicate best-practices to all cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with Influencer Marketing and Organic Social Media teams to maximize their efforts through paid advertising
  • Strive for continuous content innovation to stay relevant to our target consumer
  • Drive a robust test & learn strategy to constantly improve advertising effectiveness & deliver results 
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity 
  • Create an environment of collaboration, partnership, learning and sharing that can help drive employee engagement and development
  • Manage and develop 3 direct reports and team of 8

What Do You Need To Bring?

 

  • 10+ years experience in media, with a consistent track record for success and innovation
  • Thorough knowledge of media best practices including all forms of media planning and buying concepts and processes
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Results/metrics-driven
  • Proven leadership skills, analytical thinking and strategic agility; ability to work effectively within a global matrixed organization in partnership with key business partners, internal and external
  • Knowledgeable and well versed in current industry trends
  • Media agency and/or brand experience is required
  • Proven quantitative skills, able to translate— data, performance, consumer, competitive, industry—into insights and action
  • Strong relationship building skills at all levels; comfortable in a collaborative, performance-oriented environment
  • Global perspective and international experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
