    Job Description

    Our distribution network is built to deliver stock to our stores and fulfill direct-to-consumer orders with speed and efficiency. Merchandise is shipped to our distribution centers ("DCs”), where it is received and inspected before being shipped to stores or direct-to-consumer customers. Our two company-owned DCs are in New Albany, Ohio and total more than 2 million sq. ft.     What will you be doing?

    • Coach and lead hourly associates in individual and group settings
    • Motivate and engage individual and team performance, achieving productivity and accuracy goals
    • Use reporting and analytical tools to ensure productivity and accuracy goals are met
    • Communicate ideas, suggestions, and concerns to Leadership team
    • Demonstrate conflict avoidance and resolution techniques
    • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement in processes, training, and staffing utilization
    • Lead, train, and manage the performance of the team, ensuring all accuracy and Units Per Hour (UPH) goals are met
    • Foster and reinforce a positive, collaborative environment that respects and values diversity
    • Conduct mid-year and annual reviews with hourly associates across multiple departments
    • Work in a productive function as needed
    • Assist in attending job fairs and with other workforce development projects
    • Promote safety awareness and support the safety culture through the company
    • Drive process improvements to support A&F’s growth strategies

    What will you need to bring?

    • At least 1-2 years’ experience preferred
    • Strong leadership style with a focus on team development
    • Previous leadership experience preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Energetic and adaptable in a fast-paced distribution environment
    • Ability to use critical thinking to proactively identify and remove obstacles to success
    • Proficient Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
