    Job Description

    Under the direction of the operations manager, Command Center Specialist is an IT-focused role that is responsible for executing daily responsibilities related to incident management, device monitoring, network troubleshooting, application support, and upgrade project implementation and deployment.  An emphasis is placed on assisting in the monitoring and support of A&F's core software and hardware applications. This is a role demands building strong working relationships with all technical support teams. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring and support of the store WAN infrastructure (1100 stores, domestic and international offices)
    • Function as a Jr. Incident Manager in support of high priority incidents
    • Monitoring and support for store and corporate office network hardware (Domestically and Internationally)
    • Monitoring and support of core applications.
    • Monitoring and support of the wireless network, SAN and VOIP systems
    • Monitoring and incident management of A&F Data Centers, Labs, Storage Facilities, and Disaster Recovery Facilities

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred 4 Year degree in an IT related field
    • Experience with Windows OS
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with highly technical associates and executives
    • Knowledge of mainframe operations (MVS) and/or Oracle Batch processes a plus
    • Experience troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper network equipment
    • Technical Services experience in Retail environment a plus
    • Ability to navigate technical issues and evaluate risk
    • Ability to lead and direct the work of others
