Job Description 

A merchandise planning coordinator will have an opportunity to support either Inventory Deployment or Merchandise Pricing processes within our global planning team. 

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Inventory Deployment:

  • Execute daily/weekly deployment of product to stores and digital channels in accordance to store forecasts
  • Provide regular data entry support to the Inventory Management and Planning department including:  managing store presentations, setting up inventory work streams, and pulling reporting to identify inventory and plan inefficiencies
  • Execute to Merchandise Planner partners prioritization of flow of product considering inventory constraints
  • Support and execute to testing strategies, category specific initiatives and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Execute Inventory Transfer by warehouse with the goal of balancing available warehouse inventory
  • Drive business process improvements leveraging current tools and developing new technology

Merchandise Pricing:

  • Provide regular data entry support to the Pricing department
  • Assist in analyzing pricing and promotional in the business with merchandise planning teams
  • Assist in managing to the floorset calendar and meeting all required deadlines for the business
  • Review and audit pricing communication documents on a weekly basis
  • Assist store and e-commerce teams with pricing and marketing issues as needed
  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical ability, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Ability to work flexible / off hours to support the Inventory Management and Merchandise Planning teams
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brands
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to learn & hunger for more!
