    Job Description

    This individual will be part of a group of Systems professionals responsible for Enterprise Collaboration across the globe. The Enterprise Collaboration team is responsible for design, implementation, and support of our Unified Communications, Office 365, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. This individual’s primary focus will be Unified Communications project delivery and support. In addition, this individual must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of simultaneously prioritizing and managing a variety of complex project tasks and support activities in a fast-paced environment.

    What Will You Be Doing?

    • Design, implement, and manage day-to-day operations of a UC infrastructure in a global enterprise environment
    • Plan and document multi-step complex changes and develop disaster recovery procedures
    • Ability to communicate effectively in all business relationships and various levels of management in a clear and direct manner
    • Be able to contact and work with vendor support for hardware and/or software problem resolution
    • Serve as an escalation point for our Level 2 support and Helpdesk teams
    • Be available for rotating 24/7 on-call support

    What Do You Need To Bring?

     

    • Bachelors Degree within Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field
    • Preferred Internship or 1 year Full Time experience within IT
    • Proven leadership experience
    • Ability to thrive in team-based settings and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners
    • Interest in Microsoft and Cisco technologies, including Microsoft Skype, Skype for Business, or Lync voice experience, Cisco Voice administration and WebEx
    • Preferred understanding of networking concepts
    • Ability to interact with end users to provide technical support and gather feedback
    • Desire and ability to learn and support new technologies
    • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Must possess strong organization skills, including a keen attention to detail
