Job Description
Summary: The Director, National Accounts Operational Excellence will lead operational execution and continuous improvement across National Accounts, driving strategic initiatives aligned to business priorities. This role will identify complex issues, develop actionable solutions, and support decision-making through strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder alignment. The position requires broad operational acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to lead scalable, end-to-end business processes in a matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness across National Accounts.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify priorities, resolve operational challenges, and drive alignment through clear, executive-level communication.
- Define and execute the National Accounts operational excellence roadmap in support of business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Lead process improvement and technology enhancement initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adoption.
- Serve as the primary operational lead for National Accounts data initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and advocating for business needs within complex data frameworks and governance standards.
- Drive data optimization efforts that improve reporting, decision-making, customer experience, and business performance.
- Translate business strategy into scalable, repeatable processes that support effective execution across teams and functions.
- Partner across the organization to operationalize new programs, pilots, promotions, and initiatives.
- Support emerging accounts and new business onboarding to enable smooth implementation, reduce friction, and drive early success.
- Manage ongoing support needs and escalations with cross-functional teams to ensure timely response, issue resolution, and business continuity.
- Identify, document, and prioritize operational requirements to enable strategic execution and continuous improvement.
- Streamline workflows and establish best practices that improve team effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in operational excellence, business operations, data governance, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvement and operational execution in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of data frameworks and operational reporting processes.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders with a focus on results and accountability.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and proactive communication skills.
- Ability to identify operational risks, resolve issues quickly, and drive effective decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
