Job Description

Independently perform analyses and implement data, software, or technology solutions to deliver precise, reliable, and reproducible products in a timely manner, under the direction of a more senior leader. Demonstrate technical precision and strong analytical skills. Possess good understanding of software development and technology infrastructure (including servers, storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments), and general understanding of data integration and warehousing, and data analysis and visualization tools. Technology Engineers will be aligned to a specific area: Information, Software, Data, or Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
  • Analyze and critique results, noting significant variances or deviations.
  • Troubleshoot algorithms, protocols, and software programs.
  • Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of our business.
  • Learn and understand new methods and technologies.
  • Obtain estimates/quotes from vendors and provide as input into overall project time and cost estimates.
  • Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work product.
  • Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of related experience; or Master’s Degree with 0 years' experience.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel to support operational and business decision-making.
  • Experience using SQL to query and analyze data from relational databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs.
  • Ability to apply best practices in data visualization to present complex information in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable and effective technology solutions.

Preferred:

  • 6 years of IT-related work experience
