Job Description

Our organization is evolving, and we are currently seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our Customer Excellence team.  In this position you are a technical and data-enabled partner to our organization, accountable for delivering reliable data, tools, automation and responsible for local data support and management of the CRM system.

You ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across systems, enabling business teams to access timely and accurate information for effective decision-making. In addition, you support the efficient use of dashboards and platforms, help reduce technical issues, and contribute to operational stability. 

Your key areas of responsibility include:

  • Ensures data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems, maintenance and technical development
  • Enables timely access to accurate data for business teams and supports development and efficient use of tools, dashboards, and platforms
  • Supports business enablement and commercial execution by ensuring data, tools, and systems are reliable, timely, and fit for purpose, helping business teams work efficiently and advance key initiatives
  • Reduces technical issues and improves operational stability and strengthens local capability in data management and automation
  • Data governance responsibility: ensuring data definitions, structures, and pipelines are consistent with Global requirements, documented, and reliable across systems
  • Improves the affiliate’s readiness for and adoption of new technology and system changes
  • Enhances productivity through better data processes and technical support and creates a stronger technical foundation for scalable, future-ready analytics
  • Responsible for local data management and handling of the CRM system, including (but not limited to): change requests, request of data loads, creation of products, perform local UAT as needed, escalation of issues, provide local support as needed
  • Partnering closely with Customer Insights Manager: providing technical expertise for storing, manipulating, and retrieving data to enable timely execution of business-critical initiatives

Qualifications

We are seeking someone who is naturally collaborative, curious, and detail-oriented.  You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

In addition:

  • 2 + years of experience in data or business analyst role, statistics or related roles
  • Ideally you have worked in a pharmaceutical company or a consultancy company providing data /business analyst services to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL process (extract, transform, load)
  • Strong understanding of customer engagement metrics and data analytics
  • Advanced skills in SQL and preferably also previous experience from Power BI (Power Query and M language, DAX and Visualisation), Quiver and/or Contour
  • Knowledge of Veeva CRM/ Salesforce, SFMC, OneKey data, Sales data, other commercial data sources
  • Sharp eye for data quality, with a keen interest in investigating and resolving data-related challenges
  • Experience in market research methodologies and data collection techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to identify and address data-related issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and establish strong working relationships
  • Fluency in Finnish and strong command of English
  • Knowledge of global data solutions and best practices is desired
